Robbie Slapvox’s stories and essays have appeared or are forthcoming in Redivider, Reed Magazine, Brevity, Anderbo, descant, Watershed Review, Bare Root Review, Front Porch Journal, Controlled Burn, Clackamas Literary Review, Red Clay Review, finalist in 580 Split Fiction Contest, Zone 3, Aura Literary Arts Review, Wheelhouse Magazine, Glossolalia, and Happy.

He holds an MFA from Queens University of Charlotte, where he studied with Jenny Offill, David Payne,  Elissa Schappel and Naeem Murr.

He is also the founder of, a writing program at a psych hospital for suicidal adolescents.
